Kelli made her Broadway debut in Jekyll & Hyde.

Kelli's performance in J&H can be seen on the DVD/VHS filmed version starring David Hasselhoff in the title role.

It's quite funny seeing her in this and knowing how she turns up - a big ol' Broadway actress with a Tony nom under her belt.

It's funny how much she stands out - Red Umbrella in "Murder, Murder" (beginning of Act 2)

Heh, I just watched "Murder" on my tape looking for her. She really does stand out.

I haven't watched it all the way through in a long time, but is there a reason her character's name is Kate, like does she have any lines? Or do they just randomly name ensemble members with no lines in that show?

I don't think she has any solos - well, maybe a solo line in Façade.

I think it is random naming.

It's ironic she went on to star in a Frank show...

Also, tidbit, Jennifer Hughes was her undertsudy in Dracula and is her understudy in Piazza.

I had the priviledge of seeing Kelli as "Emma" in the national tour and she was so beautiful and her voice was amazing. She epitomized what I think "Emma" should be...sweet, loving, but had a strength that I didn't see in other actresses. She was the best!!!
